Post subject:  Sad Day for the Western Theater - CSA Side

Gentlemen of Both Armies,

It is indeed a sad day for the CSA. I have received request from Gen. Scott Ludwig, as to retiring from the Command of the Western Theater and Gen. Tony Malone has resigned as Army Commander of the Army of Mississippi.

Both of these fine officers will be missed from their command and from my Command Staff.

I have accepted their request. Please send your regards to both of these great leaders for the years of service to the CSA and their commands.

Gen. Ludwig has requested to change Armies and to go over to the DARK SIDE. I have tried to talk him out of it but something about warm beds and lobsters/steaks being served daily.

As for Gen. Malone, he has requested to step down to a Brigade Command at this time.

Gentlemen, I hate to see you all leave the Command Staff and I wish you the best.

Long live the South....

"Any people, anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better. This is a most valuable and most sacred right - a right which we hope and believe is to liberate the world. Nor is this right confined to cases in which the whole people of an existing government may choose to exercise it. Any portion of such people, that can may revolutionize and make their own of so many of the territory as they inhabit."
