Aw Heck Gery,

Pumba took you off the hook and accepted a fight.

But, I'll get to you again... rider on the way...

Gentlemen,

The following Officer has earned AotM Purple Heart for the month of February 2010. Congratulations, Sir! <salute>

This AotM Award is awarded monthly and recognizes the AotM Officer who has completed the most turns of battle in a specific month in a losing effort. Since the ACWGC is not a Ladder Club, based merely upon wins alone... we are recognizing those Officers who are completing significant numbers of turns even though their efforts end up as victories for their opponents. On many occasions our Officers encounter difficult scenarios where victory is unobtainable but they dutifully move forward and engage their Union foes... fighting honorably to the bitter end. This sort of behavior is to be Highly Commended by both sides of the Club! As Commandant Waylon Hughes Jr at VMI says... "It's better to win a friend than a battle!"

Colonel Hardee, thank you for bringing the battle to the enemy! I admire your persistence and devotion to the cause and everything else that you do for the Club in your service within the AotM and beyond!

Warmest Regards,

General Roger Hulinsky
Cmdg, AotM

Well done on becoming a Lt Col, however my expectations are now much higher - I now expect even more of the smurfs to be sent packing north of the MD Line. Keep up scare!

Put another Major Win in the column for General Hulinsky. [:(]

Roger whupped me good in a home made scenario. He'd get just close enough to put a fire phase of defensive fire on me and run off. This tactic pushed the point total in his favor.

Wish there was march fatigue, as his army ended up marching 4-5 times more than mine did! hehehe.... (grumble, grumble, grumble) hehehe... [;)]

My hat is off to Roger to come up with the tactic needed to win this one. [:D]

Major General Amos,
Al,

Thank you for a great game, Sir! <salute>

And don't worry about the loss... you are in very good company as Lt General Hodgkiss gave up a Major Victory to me yesterday! I think you guys are thinking my Birthday is this month but actually it is in October! But thank you all the same! [;)]

Brigadier General Hardee,
Robert,

Congratulations on your promotion to Brigadier General and thank you for all the trouble you cause for all those poor Yankee's! That is when you're not trying to win another AotM Purple Heart! [;)]
