Colonel Hebert,

Thanks, I will.

We didn't have any planes land in Tulsa from after about 4pm 'til ... not sure if any landed today, if so it had to be after 10am. So I don't think we had any expresses to deliver.

Officer's of the AotM,

The following Orders have been received at AotM Headquarters this morning. There has been a bit of a delay in their arrival due to a freak snow storm in Mississippi!

Image

I extend my congratulations to Major General Owen Evans! It is a great pleasure to have you serving in the Army of the Mississippi, Sir! <salute>

Warmest Regards,

General Roger Hulinsky

Officer's of the AotM,

As most of you know... the Army of the Mississippi has been engaged in an IntraArmy Tournament, which we refer to as the "King of the Hill" Tourney. The web page for the tournament is located here:

http://www.rogerhulinsky.com/KotH/index1.html

Round Three of the Tournament is now completed and a number of Officer's are already many turns into their matches for Round Four. Here is the KotH - Round Two Winner's Ribbon, which has been awarded to all of the following Officer's.

Major General Paul Kenney

Congratulations, gents! Keep up the fight! <salute>

Gentlemen,

I have received a whole pouch full of Awards for various Officer's in the Army of the Mississippi from General Willie Tisdale. I'm beginning to wonder if we are not his favorite Army! [;)]

The following three Awards are for the CSA's Joseph E. Johnston Award which is awarded to Officer's for surpassing 1000 OBD Points. You can qualify for the award again for each additional 1000 points that you earn. In this case, Lt General Gery Bastiani is receiving his first Joseph E. Johnston Award and General Tony Malone and General Roger Hulinsky are receiving their second award of this particular Medal.

I believe this is the first time I've ever beaten Gery to anything! He's certainly the first one to the table, isn't that right boys? LOL!

Congratulations to these Officers on their awards!

Gentlemen,

Here is the other half of the Awards from General Willie Tisdale! [;)]

The following Officer's have been awarded the CSA 5 Year Service Ribbon for their service to the Club and the Confederacy! I apoligize that a number of these Ribbons should have been awarded years ago but we've not been very good at keeping up on these Awards. I shall endeavor to do a better job in this area. A great number of these Officer's are actually getting close to earning their CSA 10 Year Service Ribbon.

Major General Michael Mihalik

Major General John Lindley

Major General Jim Pfluecke

Major General Bert Daniel

Major General Owen Evans

Brig. General Ken Miller

Gentlemen, thank you for your service and devotion to the Club. May you continue to distinguish yourselves as some of the elite Officer's of the Confederacy! <salute>

Gentlemen <salute>

My compliments to the officers of the Army of the Mississippi!

General Hulinsky, I love the new graphics. If the sight of Custer being flushed doesn't bring a smile to your face, nothing will [:D]

I am in awe of those gentlemen presented the Joseph E. Johnston Award for their accomplishments, as well as those recognized for their lengthy service to the Confederate States Army. Each of you is worthy of admiration, and my division salutes you!

To my comrades recognized as round two winners in the "King of the Hill" tourney, congratulations! The competition grew stronger with each round, and reaching the third round was quite an accomplishment. Well done!

My regards,

No General McOmish, it's made of wood but it's about the size of an ole streamer trunk. It has compartments to hold each bottle separately and from last count it could hold over 100 fifth size bottles he he he. Now it has a few less [:0]. General Hulinsky asked if he could send the empty ones back for refill and I told him that it wouldn't be the same. It would be clear in color, made from corn as in corn squeezing/moonshine [:D]. Happy New Years to ya'll

Respectfully,
Lt. Gen. Gery Bastiani
