Now that Windows 7 has been out, has any club member had any experience with it? In particular, are there any of the difficulties loading and running Talonsoft's Battlegrounds titles?

I am using Windows 7 64bit but only for HPS games not Battleground. For the most part HPS games work. Some that haven't had a recent update like Normandy 44 still have map scrolling problems.

I've been using it for several months. Vista prior to that. I'm using x64 Ultimate. Same as Vista for HPS and BG. So, for BG you need to use the game executable to start rather than the bg_start. Or, if you want the intro menu screen you can run BG games in a virtual machine in XP. I like free Sun VirtualBox. They run perfectly in that. The XP Mode in Win7 Ultimate has problems on the intro screen for me (just a blank white box with buttons), so it's no better than running in Win7 directly from the game executable. I had success in the past with MS Virtual PC in Vista x64 Business. Either Sun Virtual Box or MS Virtual PC require a copy of XP to install in the virtual machine. XP mode in Win7 Ultimate includes a downloadable version of XP. After you set up a virtual machine, it's simple and quick to start it and run the game, so it's not as time-consuming and inconvenient as dual-booting.

I recently bought a PC with Win 7 and so far I have experienced no problems, as opposite to my older Vista...

Win 7 seems perfect so far!

I'm running it and don't have any issues as of now.
