Has anyone seen this before? I just switched from Cox internet to AT&T internet yesterday and when I attempted to change my address on the profile page here at the club I got the following message. The following is the error message that I get.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Your request was not sent due to the following error: 521 DNSRBL: Blocked for abuse. See http://att.net/blocks 521 DNSRBL: Blocked for abuse. See http://att.net/blocks
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I called AT&T and they could not help except to tell me that the site was blocked. I checked the error message and it tells me that your site has been blocked because of spam or other abuse. Also, when I go to the att.net/blocks page it directs me to the following message.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A nondelivery report containing the error code 521 indicates that a specified mailing system is blocked because it has displayed behavior consistent with spamming or other forms of abuse of network resources. This behavior has been noted by our system, by other reputable monitors of network activity, or by both. If you think your IP has been misidentified as a source of spamming or other questionable behavior, we recommend taking the following steps:

1. Visit the websites of the third-party sources:
http://www.spamhaus.org/
http://ipremoval.sms.symantec.com/lookup/

If you are on either of these lists, follow the directions provided there for requesting removal.

AND . . .

2. Visit the page for requesting removal from the list we create:
http://www.att.net/general-info/bls_inf ... admin.html

Please note that the processes for requesting removal are intended to be completed by system administrators, not individuals. Processing a request requires information that only administrators will know. If you are an individual user whose messages have been blocked, please send a message to your administrator pointing him to this page (http://www.att.net/general-info/bls_info/521.html). In most cases, you can reach an administrator through the Postmaster address for the system you are using (postmaster@[your_e-mail_system.net]).

You were able to get on the site to post your message, so there should be no reason you cannot change your profile. It is the same site.

Your profile page is still on the www.wargame.ch site.

I think you need to just try it again.

Also, I see you are from Norman, OK. You are the second person I know from there.

Thanks Ernie.....but....

I am still not able to change my e-mail address and I get the same error as I described above. I have been able to change other fields on the profile (such as my age) and they take just fine..

I don't know what is going on...

Ernie:
I when I went out to www.wargame.ch I attempted to log into the home page. When I enter my username and password I get the following error message

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'

Type mismatch: 'sha256'

/inc_header.asp, line 200

I am able to click on Profile and am sent to

http://www.wargame.ch/pop_profile.asp?mode=Edit

I enter my username and password and then I am sent my Porfile where I was able to change my e-mail address and any other information on the page with out any problems. When I go back to the main page of wargame.ch and attempt to login I get the same error message as above.

When I go to the ACWGC page and login to my profile and attempt to change my e-mail address I get the same error as before (see first post under this topic). I can change the other information in my profile but can not change my e-mail address.

Yes, I moved down to Norman in 2006 after I retired from the government. My extended family live within 100 miles of here and I went to OU graduate school back in the late 70's so I have a number of friends in the area. Also, my wife has her sisters here and other of her family in the area. Who is it that you know here? I could know him/her.

More than likely, you are subscribed to a topic or subscribed to a forum.

Look at the lines just above a message thread and you will see UNSUBSCRIBE. Select that and click on the pop up that follows.

This should clear your problem.

My friend left Norman probably 40 years ago. Her husband was in the Navy. Her last name is Carlson and I do not remember her maiden name, but I do know she visits in Norman, almost every year.
