I played six game files this morning before anyone was awake. In one game the opponent sent the file back, even, and I played it back to him! I like days off. [:D]

Same here plus I got an hour of reading in on my new Kindle. Of course not having youngsters in the house and everyone staying up late and sleeping in late helped out me, Lord of Letting The Dogs Out To Pee Early.

No one around, yesterday, except my wife, cooking, etc, until about noon when kids and grandkids showed up, so got in a few turns of various games.

How do you like the Kindle??

Up at dawn, seems there are no early morning risers on Christmas once they get to old for toys, to let the dogs out, fix Christmas dinner, and kill a few Yankees. All a good mornings work.

One Christmas a few years ago an opponent of mine was able to turn a draw into a minor victory for him on Christmas Day. I figured that was what I got for playing on XMas and I haven't done it since.

(There, I have made an excuse for one of my losses. A whole bunch more I have to come up with reasons for. LOL)

Guilty as charged, Sir. Teens were asleep, dog walked, wife calling the kin folk, surely a quick little PBEM turn in a small scenario is exactly what Santa had in mind for his hard working officers.

Happy Holidays, Gents!

I must also admit to gaming on Chrit]stmas Day. In my defense, we were snowbound with blizzard conditions. None of the guests could get through the 13" of new snow. So we cooked and played with gifts. The Kindle is fascinating. Happy Boxing Day to all.

I got a Kindle too and I'm loving it, especially since it is much easier to hold on to then the hardback edition of the new Stephen King novel I downloaded. I think I'll find myself doing a lot more reading again. Have to look and see how much Civil War history is available.
