General Amos <salute>

Sir, my compliments! I do appreciate the humor of your "AAC" remark, however since we are Confederate officers I am left wondering who the "American" chickens are [:D]

A Happy New Year sir,

Judging by the response here I suspect the "War" will get fought.....The start date is 0f course uncertain as of this time.....We've been working on the rules manuel a lot, and we are playtesting some of the proceedures and numbers.....I doubt we will have time to playtest the numbers too thouroughly and shall end up possibly making some adjustments on the fly.....The proceedures should be pretty smooth....There is still a lot of mapwork to get ready....

Just an update.....We are making maps, working on automation of the OOB generation from the recruiting engine, and working on getting the leaders list divided into states so the leaders pop up in the right places.....When it is finished it should pop out a properly formatted notepad text file OOB based on what the recruiting engine does that turn....Very little manual editing will need to be done..........Things are going well....

In anticipation of occupying the White House I began to wonder...

In our day the plane carrying the president is AirForce ONE, the helicopter; Marine ONE.

In Abe's day was his horse: Cavalry ONE? His carriage: Artillery ONE?

I believe his horse was in fact named "Mr Ed"....His pet name for Abe was "Wilbur"......The Gettysburg Address, was in fact written by Ed who was far more litterate than his owner.....He was also responsible for most of Abe's Military decisions.....At least all the good ones......

Sirs,
As I am unfamiliar with the background of this game, could someone who has a history with it drop me an email and let me know the particulars. It seems very similar to an open ended MP Campaign we ran way back in the day during my previous tenure with the club. If it is anything like that, I'd be more than happy to join in if there's still room..
regards,

Sirs,

Since only two bluebellies seem to be participating, I guess it's time to jump in as I may have a chance of winning a game for a change.
