8 pages, 217 replies, read 3309 times ... is this the longest thread ever in the history of the MDT? And is there an upper limit set by the forum? Will it blow when you reach a 1000 replies? [8D]

General Walter,
Sir,

I noticed that the forum was dragging a bit lately... I hope it isn't due to the AotM and all our propaganda! [:0]

I do imagine that it is only a minor achievement in comparision to the 3131 posts (and counting) that you have made in the ACWGC Forums! That is quite impressive if I do say so myself! <salute>

I wish all the Officer's in the Club... blue and gray... would make it a habit to check in at the Mason Dixon regularly and make themselves heard! Then maybe... just maybe... I would shut up! [;)]

Ok... so I'm dreaming!

Well when you're a bunch of old women who'd rather gossip then fight they're bound to have a long thread. [:p]

Why General Walter, Nicodemus thinks a green complexion looks just fine [:D]

Gentlemen <salute>

General Meyer, I don't recall receiving any advice on stool softener for Nicodemus. There was a recent case, however, where a Yankee courier had a close call. It seems that the dispatches and mount didn't fare well and ended up being recycled; might this be the message in question?

Lt Col Trauth, good to hear from you my friend. I hope to not disappoint you, however I'm Cajun. I'm not related to Jed Clampett, and we don't eat possum; we prefer other critters like crawfish and turtles and catfish (oh my!). We like Grosbeck too, but them's illegal and big trouble if the game warden catches you [:D]

Col Hebert, Sir <S> ...

Now you know that being from Illinois -we don't exactly have any intimidating wild life- even Wisconsin at least has a the cow (which can be mighty nasty when stampeded... ) but never mind that.

Whatever the preferred cuisine and whether you put some hot sauce on it or not- it is all a moot point, as people from south of the Mason-Dixon line all attrit exactly the same way (that's the other Illinois trait ... big on inflicting attrition ... not much else to do there, really ...)

But, yes oddly enough I have a couple of mates on the other side of this conflict, and all cheekiness aside, I respect them... however, I'd still take them out if given a clear shot - I mean as Uncle Billy said "War is Hell." [8D]
