In 3 different HPS titles (Gettysburg, Antietam and Peninsula)against 2 different opponents the loss of the final gun in a section/battery does not register in the Victory dialog box - neither the gun loss nor the points.

It only happens against a one gun section/battery or when a multi gun section/battery takes a final loss.

All other gun losses register.

The games are at the latest version. The only difference I can see is that I'm running XP and my two opponents are running Vista.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any information out there on why this would happen?

Actually, I think this did happen to me! There were two guns that I destroyed over two turns. When I looked back at the Victory Dialogue, it said I had destroyed one gun. I thought I was going nuts!
This was in Vicksburg.

I've had it happen within HPS Gettysburg and Chickamauga scenarios but:

1 - against the same opponent (have other opponents and haven't seen the problem within their games).
2 - I was Reb Commander in one and Union Commander in the other but only my side was not counting all of the arty tube hits as my opponent got credit for all of his.
3 - I run Vista and don't know what my opponent runs.
4 - We play all options on except for MDF.
5 - Had been playing the same opponent for several scenarios before this started. Noticed it at the same time that the night fatigue issue (no night fatigue accumulating if you play w/o MDF on) started.
6 - In our games, the not counting of destroyed arty tubes is not restricted to just the last tube in a stack. It's happened a lot and I've tried to pinpoint some common occurrence without success.

Saw it in one of my El Deguello games.

Sent it to Rich H, but he had trouble seeing it on the replay ( I think).

So, it does exist...

I don't think it has anything to do with Vista. I loaded scenarios in Penisula and Gettysburg and tested it. Gun losses registered except when it was the last gun in a section/battery. I've only noticed it of late. Could it have anything to do with the latest releases I wonder.
