Gentlemen,

I have a question concerning captured artillery. Since it seems you can't move the captured battery off only turn them. How can you destroy the guns so they do not fall back into the enemies hands and you retain the victory points.

Easy. Parc an own battery in their rear and keep banging away. Since it's point blank and with the rear modifier, it's usually a quick affair.

Or you can abandon them and let the Yankees destroy them for you. We can do a better job of it anyway and you don't have to waste a battery of guns to do it.[:D]

Or just SPIKE them, lose the points, but don't have to sit on them or let the enemy retake them.
