What is your favorite scenario for a multi-player game?

That's a tough one Gen. Groce. I haven't played enough MP games to have an opinion yet. Gettysburg comes to mind as I'm engaged on that battlefield now and its handing 4 players on a side.I'm also in a Peninsula MP (status is questionable) but it seems to me that battlefield is too constricted for the Union. There has to be a battlefield that's large and interesting and an OOB that lends itself to easy division among the players.

I'd like to see a MP game on the Full Atlanta map from Dalton to Atlanta!

I think you'd need at least a 2 week modified battle though and two teams that were surgically attached to their computers to get it done in a lifetime though!

General,

Here are several that have been very enjoyable for 4/I AoG officers:

HPS Chancellorsville - 094F Nov. 9 Cavalry Battle
We played this 2v1; it moved quickly and was very close with division sized commands. Fun if you want an MP game that offers plenty of options in a medium-small battle.

HPS Shiloh - 097 Jk Van Dorn Arrives
Multiple Corps but only 40 turns; a good battle for 2v2 or larger with a premium on combat tactics.

HPS Antietam - 047 March to Hagerstown
I joined this one in progress. The whole band is assembled for an 86 turn monster with plenty of room for 3v3 or more. This one is going to last a good long while.

HPS Gettysburg - 090 Block the Crossings
This action has a vast map and places a premium on strategic choices with multiple Corp sized commands. Scouts earn their pay here. Another good candidate for 2v2 or larger. We also played Historical 1.2 Gettysburg July 2 as a 2v2. It goes fast for an MP PBEM. Only 17 turns and face-to-face pretty much from the start.

4/I is always looking for MP action. Call us any time.

Regards,
