General Paul Smith the Commander of the Army of Georgia since January of 2008 will be stepping down on June 1st 2010. General Smith has served with both distinction and honor, the officers of the Army of Georgia, as well as myself will sorely miss his steady hand on the helm.

General Kunz has served the CSA in many roles since joining the ACWGC back in 2004 and his commitment has always been, as is the Army of Georgia's motto, Second to None.

I wish to thank Gen. Smith for his long and devoted service to the AoG and wish him all the best in the future.

Also congrats and thanks to Gen. Kunz for stepping up to the Army command position. The AoG is lucky indeed to have such fine men running it!

If the Easterners are buying, boys, we better drink up! God knows when this will happen again.
