Went to Antietam battlefield today, really good to see the actual ground. Amazing what the soldiers were ordered to do in some cases. Battlefield is pretty well preserved but I didn't have the same feeling of being on sacred ground that I had at Gettysburg. I hope to post a picture of a cannon I couldn't identify, although it may be a piece of horse artillery. I know someone in the club will know for sure what it is if the pictures are good.
