Gentlemen of the CSA:

General Willie Tisdale has served a 2-year term as CSA Chief of the Armies. It is time (past time, actually) for another election.

To oversee this election, I have appointed Bob Weir, John Dragan, and myself to an Election Committee.

General Tisdale is eligible to serve a second term. However, any CSA officer in good standing at the rank of Lieutenant General or General is also eligible to serve.

Any CSA officer in good standing may nominate anyone meeting this requirement for the position. Per club rules, two nominations are needed and nominations are to be sent to the entire Cabinet. Before nominating someone, you must verify the individual is willing to serve. Also, nominations must be sent from your official club email address as listed in the Department of Records.

For convenience, nominations may be sent using the “Contact ACWGC Cabinet Membersâ€

Is there a "convenient" list of possible nominees? I don't keep up with the ranks of everyone (Hell I'm not sure of my own anymore...lol).......Can we nominate more than 1 individual should we choose to do so?? I'm strongly considering nominating Lt. General Moose for the position, but I may want to study the list a bit more!

General Smith,

I'm not aware of any list of officers of Lieutenant General rank or higher for either side. The only way I would know would be to check the list in the DoR (item 3, "Reports", then select "CSA Roster")for anyone you think would be a good candidate.

I looked for the Moose and couldn't find him. He must still be passed out behind the bar. [;)]

Gentlemen, FYI:

A second nomination has been received, from Lieutenant Scott Reed, nominating General Carroll for the position of CSA CoA.

We now have two nominated candidates. Nominations do not end until Saturday - there is still time to nominate others.

If you nominate someone, please remember to include a statement in your nomination letting us know you have contacted the candidate you are nominating and he has agreed to serve. :-)

Your humble servant,
Gen 'Dee Dubya' Mallory
