Gentlemen,
At this point we have two candidates officially nominated for the position of CSA Chief of the Armies. We may have more before nominations close at the end of the day Saturday.
I wanted to take this opportunity to announce that the election committee (composed of General Weir, General Dragan, and myself) has set next week (Sunday, June 13, 2010 through Saturday, June 19, 2010) as the week for campaigning.
This is also a good time to remind everyone of the club rules regarding campaigning:
<b>3.3.4.3 Campaigning
Once the candidates are determined, each will be encouraged to post one campaign message thread at the Smoking Room for any information he would like to share. Supporters may add to the thread. In the club spirit of behaving like gentlemen, however, negative statements regarding other candidates are highly discouraged. Posts in violation of this rule are subject to removal. </b>
