This is my first summer with the ACWGC. My games have slowed to a crawl. Is this normal or am I just having a slow period with my current 4 opponents?

The room where my PC is set-up becomes rather like the prisoner "sweat-box" from 'Bridge on the river Kwai' during the hotter summer days ...attending to lengthy game turns can be simply uncomfortable for much of the time. Plus it really is better to limit time spent doing indoor pursuits when the sun is shining ...my efforts at model-making become equally curtailed during the summer.

I guess the majority of us see a reduction in our gaming efforts during the summer months.
Shame to still be pasty white when September gets here.

Great Bridge on the River Kwai reference! That was so random it was beautiful. But I do agree. My games have also been going a bit slower with the rise in temperatures. Efforts to save more money have prompted me to keep the AC off as much as possible. When I got home from work last night and found the temperature in the computer room to be a steamy 89 degrees the last thing I wanted to do was move my men.

Respectfully,

My games slow as well. Love the gaming but hopping on the bike for some exercise is more important. And like some others, the computer room has no AC.
