Gentlemen

I am on my knees. I can't take it anymore. I'm about to have a nervous breakdown. I'm asking one last time and if that don't work I swear on all that's holy I'll never deal with Windows 7 again[:(!]. Ever!
I am able to send moves that work. But I can't open any game files. For some reason it comes through as a WordPad document. I bought the WinZip program but it doesn't ask me if I want to extract the file and to where. It just open up to a jumble word document. I'm sending out 1 more S.O.S to my fellow officers to save me from insanity [B)]

Possibly some setting you have that is associating BTE files with a Word file?

I have always had winzip or another zip program ASK where to unzip the file.

BUT, I do not have Win7.

I would try support[at]hpssims.com for help with the game.

Need to get a little more information about what you see and are doing. Win 7 and Winzip should handle things fine. I have been using both for almost a year now.

First the file attached to the email from your opponent (I assume that is the one you are having a problem with). Is it a "bte" file or a "zip" file?

Let's clarify this first step first.

Also to verify you have Winzip installed properly, pick any file using Windows Explorer and right click on it. Does the context menu that open include "WinZip" in the list of command with it able to open a second menu with about a half dozen zip commands?
