From the website:

Welcome to Scourge of War: Gettysburg, a real-time 3D Civil War computer game developed by NorbSoftDev, the company headed by renowned game designer Norb Timpko, designer of Mad Minute Games' acclaimed Take Command series. Scourge of War: Gettysburg is the next generation of Civil War combat command simulations. Not only will the players be able to test themselves against the award winning AI, online play will now make this one of the best strategic and tactical internet war games to date. Command your troops at the Battle of Gettysburg from the Union side, or attack Gettysburg as the Confederate rebels.

No PBEM support. You can only play vs the AI or through their online support. (It looks like that to me.)

I played the demo. Map is great. Without PBEM forget it, otherwise it shows promise.

Still waiting for the Total War Series creators to realize how much money they'd make if they made a Civil War game...

If you've played the Take Command series - this is based on it. Pretty much a sequel.

Great game if you ask me, but I don't have time to play it really. As with the Take Command games, it's very much like Sid Meier's Gettysburg but in 3D.
