Hello to you all,

I wanted to let you all know that I will be gone until this coming Monday. I have asked Bob Weir to be charge for me in my absent. I have not got the official word from him but if he can't fill in for me, please contact Cam McOmish.

Gooding for any Yanks that is trying to get into the Blue Ridge Parkway...

Damn drill weekend!

I live right off of the Parkway and would have loved to have met up and met ya. I was down in the Gate City region doing drill last weekend. I live near Rocky Knob and Mabry's Mill on the Parkway.

Replanted the USA flag back on Clingman's Dome earlier today. What a beautiful time of the year to be in the Smokies (but avoid the weekends)!

General Simms <salute>

Sir, I noticed your banner and am wondering if that's what was left of your command following your last encounter with the Confederate forces.

Highest regards,

Negative, General Hebert. We tend to fire broadsides and then board and capture our fair share of Rebel forces. We've been particularly alert ever since we heard that there was a Rebel gator up for grabs and we've been looking for him so that we can add him to our wall trophy collection.

Suh, my compliments! Nicodemus would use them bones for toothpicks. Actually, we just finished off a team of AoC boys and he could use one now
