When Tim Miller rejoined the Club last week he was placed back into the AotM at the rank of Major General. His previous rank was unknown and he could not recall it. But because he had over 1000 OBD points I decided to guess at least a Major General and placed him as such in the DoR.

After some discussion with our CoA we decided to just make Tim a Brigadier General as nobody seemed to know what his previous rank had been. Tim was fine with that and said he would play at any rank.

While looking through some old files the other night I ran across a message from Gen. Gene Nix (former AotM commander years ago) thanking his Lt General, Tim Miller, for his hard work.

I emailed this to General Tisdale who agreed we should restore Tim to his former rank.

So in the last week Tim Miller has held three General ranks - BG, MG, LG! The Army Quartermaster has taken to the bottle after trying to find the necessary uniforms, stationary, and stars to accommodate Tim!

Congrats on your "promotion" to Lt General, Tim. I'd stay away from the "lady friends" of the Command Staff though or you may end up back as a Lieutenant still :D

thank you so much...it has been a strange ride
to be truthfully honest I am just glad to be back as an active member of the club

the points came from administrative work not from winning :)

I am honored by the hard work of Gen Strickler, he definitely didnt have to go through all of the efforts he did
it speaks volume of him and the Army he Commands
I am truly honored to be backed in the Army of the Mississippi

If I tell you I can't remember MY rank, will you make me a Lt. General???? If so, I can tell you now that I have a rather poor and deteriorating memory.....
