Gentlemen,

It has come to my attention that the CSA Chief of the Armies General Willie Tisdale has been ill since mid November, it is my understanding that he is currently out of the hospital and recovering at home.
As he has limited access to his computer he may well be out of contact with the ACWGC for some time.

So please keep Willie in your thoughts and prayers, that he will make a full and speedy recovery and be able to return to our ranks soon.

Got word from Willie today, he is doing much better and should be returning to full duty over the coming days and weeks

Is there any way in which we of the Union Army might keep Willie from returning to the field?!!! His absence has allowed some of us to indulge in a much-needed regrouping and given us hope to think that we may bring this war to an earlier conclusion than heretofore expected! :!:

But if we are not to prevent his return, then, I suppose, it is probably wishful thinking to believe that he will provide us with anything less than his usual, singled-minded approach at our complete and utter decimation wherever we should encounter him! :(

Willie,

Did you eat with the enlisted men and actually eat the same food? I hope not, as that would cause quite a shock to the system. I hear you can go to the enlisted men's hospital and get that new Arsenic and Turpentine elixor they are using to treat this. I hear it solves all your problems veryquickly.......On a more serious note, hang in there and get well.....

Hank

I will stress that I do not know anything about the extent of Willie's condition, nor do I know if, or how much on the way of after effects or disability there could be for him What I will say is that according to those things this club could actually become more important to him as one of the beauties of the internet is that there are no disabilities online. I wish my Father would have tried the computer after his strokes. I believe he could have had a far better last 18 years than he had. I guess what I'll say is that hopefully Willie's situation is not so serious as all that, but if so, we'll be here for him.......
