General Ringbloom <salute>

Suh, my compliments! We thought you might be referring to those gentlemen on the wrong side of Marsh Creek  Nicodemus did enjoy watching them march back and forth for a while

Oh, and we're ready to continue once the Yankees see fit to return the file

General Herbert! <salute>

An intell coup on the part of the reb spy network, surely should have warned you of the approach of General Patton and Third Army approaching, with 2nd Armored in the lead. You didn't think that all of that clanking and rumbling was General Ringbloom's bowel condition did you? ;)

General Rusty <salute>

It must be your stealth armor, as none is visible from Round Top

Gentlemen <salute>

A rider from "Gator Scrap" has just arrived with results of the battle fought at HPS Corinth. The Gator team of Brigadier General Tom Moore (Commanding), Major General David Peek, Brigadier General Tim Reneau and Colonel Chris Newcomb has achieved a major victory against a team from the AotS commanded by Lieutenant General Ambros Tremel. The loss of approximately 1800 Yankee cavalry to ambush seems to have been a deciding factor in the battle. Nicodemus likes horse flesh

Gentlemen <salute>

Oh my, I see it's been about 1 1/2 months since the last update and I do enjoy seeing our opponents' comments. For those unfamiliar with "Gator Challenge", it came about when Gator Alley challenged any division from the AotT to a MP battle. The toothless were unable to assemble a team, however the AotS intervened on their behalf and fielded four teams in response.

"Gator Scrap" ended in a major victory by the Gators, as previously posted.

"Gator Oats" has seen a couple of the original Yankee team drop out for some reason or other, however Ernie Fantini and Tim Wheeler have kept up the fight in fine fashion. While I must report that our right flank has suffered heavily and is under severe pressure, night is fast approaching and we are hopeful to reverse the situation. The Yanks are currently about 150 points on the positive side of a draw after 45 turns.

"Gator Bloom" sees the Yankee forces deploying to stop the bleeding on their left, where they originally deployed the cavalry corps to fight as infantry against Longstreet's I Corps. The results from that decision have been favorable to our cause, with their cavalry having suffered some 30% casualties. Losses are 14552 Yankee infantry and 4555 cavalry compared to 9067 Confederate infantry and 446 cavalry, and we are within 500 points (-5527 of -6000) from major victory conditions. We are confident that there is still plenty of fight in our opponents and this should prove to be a hot affair despite the current score.

"Gator Klebbe" continues to see minimal contact or casualties after 30 or so turns. This will heat up eventually after the dancing ceases.

Our thanks to those members of the AotS for their participation in these battles. Gator Alley also salutes General Matt Perrenod who is retiring after 10+ years with the ACWGC. We never did have the opportunity to meet in battle to retrieve the AotM colors lost a couple of years ago during General Hulinsky's tenure.
