HPS Chickamauga graphics updates are now available from the Old Banshee Team:
http://old-banshee.yolasite.com/
Just go to the downloads section and then the click on the Chickamauga icon.

This release required literally hundreds of hours of work, and features:

a) Updated color leader images, taking advantages of Army, Corps, Division, State (for Brigade leaders), and "special" flags.
Keep an eye out for Hardee flags, Polk flags, and all of the "flavor" from the Perryville, Murfreesboro, Chickamauga, and Chattanooga campaigns.
Furthermore, leaders will have changing background flags from campaign to campaign if they moved up in the command structure or shifted units in the order-of-battle.

b) Updated color unit images taking advantage of more historical "flavor" from the Tennessee/Kentucky Theater in 1862-1863.

Enjoy!

Make sure you put the .bmp files in the "info" folder. The rest (.oob) files go in the root folder for the game. Nothing should go in the "map" folder for this particular mod.

Does the readme really say put them in the maps folder for the Chickamauga updates?

Yah, this is what I got:

You can copy all the files directly into any one of your "Map" folders for any game. Then you can copy the units from any one of the 3 folders into the corresponding game's Map folder.

Here is the readme file that is with the download.

These graphics have taken a long time to reserch and produce and are the property of the Old Banshee Team. They are meant for personal use in the HPS games. If you use them on your web pages or make financial gain from them then please put a link on your web page to our site, and share the financial gain.

Contents of download.

We have 2 folders in the zip file.

Order of Battle Folder.
These Orders of Battle have been altered to use these graphics. They will work with the units.bmp you may have already downloaded.

Units Graphics Folder.
This set of Graphics has the units.bmp and the anon.bmp.

How to place these files in the game.
The Unit, Leader and Unknown bmp's needs to be put in the info folder it will replace the original file so it is a good idea to backup or make copies of the original files.
The OOB's files go in the main page where the scenario's map's and oob's are, again these files will replace the original file so it is a good idea to backup or make copies of the original files.

We hope you enjoy these mods and if you need to contact us use this email: old_banshee@hotmail.com

Just a suggestion, if you are using Winzip or something similar to create your zipfiles you might try placing the files in the correct folder where you store them. In other words create subfolders inside the game folder for Map, Info like Campaign Chickamaugua/Info as needed and place the files that go into that folder inside it. Then when you add them to the zipfile the subfolder will be part of the path in the zipfile and if the Folder Option is chosen when extracting the files they will automatically be extracted to the correct subfolder.
