Gentlemen,

The Army of the Mississippi and the Army of the Tennessee have, at long last, decided to settle their differences on the battlefields! Starting on Independence Day and running through Labor Day (July 4 - September 5) the two Armies will send representatives to meet in battle from the Ozarks to the fields of Gettysburg.

The rules are simple:
1) Paired players will play a singular battle of any length in which the players feel they can complete in the allotted time period (likely 10 - 40 turns)
2) Paired players may use any House Rules they care to agree upon
3) The battle result should be communicated to their respective Army Commander
4) A Major Victory will count as two points and a Minor Victory as one point in the standings
5) If the battle has not been finished by Labor Day than the respective Army Commanders will ask for an agreed upon conclusion based on the scenarios current state (if necessary the Army Commanders will make a judgment call if the players cannot agree on the terms of the conclusion)
6) The side with the most total points after these battles will be considered the winner of the tournament

MATCHES ANNOUNCED!
Contact your Army Commander for information regarding your opponent as soon as possible if you have not already gotten word.

I know, AotT leader Lt. Gen. Dan Peterjohn, will join me in thanking all of the 40+ members who volunteered to participate in this tournament!
