I am looking to expand my collection of the HPS campaign series.I started out with Corinth.Any suggestions on the next one That I should acquire? Thanks in advance |

The most obvious next game would be Gettysburg. It is, probably, the most played of the games. But, any of them are fine. Your best bet is to go with another area that you are interested in. You can't really go wrong with any choice, IMO. |

Next game to get in my opinion: Gettysburg gives you access to the most played scenario in the 3 -Day battle and the best opportunity for playing in multi-player games. Lot's of interesting hypothetical situations and big scale battles. Antietam gives you three important historical battles n the one disk: 1st Bull Run, 2nd Bull Run & Antietam. Lot's of playable battles and replay value fromn that disk. Lot's of "good" terrain to play over with the eastern theatre games ...much less heavily wooded areas than typically found in many of the western battles. Getty or Antietam probably offer the best value for money to the average player looking for PBEM repeat playability. |

Gettysburg is the staple game of the HPS series usually. I always like the Western Battles because all those blasted trees give us Rebs something to use for cover! Yanks without their big guns are fun to beat up on. |

I am currently playing 4 games in Campaign Chickamauga. There are some surprisely good scenarios in that campaign so you might want to put that on top of your list. |

They are all good, so I would follow the advice of the fellow that suggested you pick your favorite area of operations. Here is what they cover. Shiloh- Fts Henry and Donelson, Mill Springs, Shiloh, and a lot of what-ifs in Tennessee. Ozarks- Wilson's Creek, Pea Ridge, Prairie Grove. Antietam- both bull runs, Cedar Mountain, South Mountain, Antietam. Peninsula- Seven Pines, Beaverdam Creek, Gaines Mill, Fraser's Farm, Savage Station, Malvern Hill. Chickamauga- Perryville, Murfreesboro, Chickamauga, Chattanooga. Vicksburg- Port Gibson, Chickasaw Bluffs, Jackson, Champion Hill, Vicksburg siege and Milliken's Bend. Chancellorsville-Fredricksburg and Chancellorsville. Gettysburg- Gettysburg, 2nd Winchester, Brandy Station and a host of possibles for the campaign game. Atlanta- Rocky Face Ridge, Resaca, New Hope Church, Kennesaw Mtn, Atlanta, peachtree creek. Franklin-Spring Hill, Franklin, Nashville, Murfreesboro II. I advise you check out the blurbs at HPS to see what else each of these offers, but I don't think you can go wrong. |

You need to eventually get them all to be able to enter any tournament or answer any challenge. They all have something to offer. |

They have a good variety of game lengths, and tend to be well balanced in game terms for the most part. Both sides have offensive and defensive opportunities, too. |
