I have been playing a completely online game called campaign of '63. It is a CW game that while not as in depth as HPS and some of the others is an interesting strategy game. You choose a game based on how often you wish to issue orders either daily or weekly. You command either grant or lees forces for the entire campaign and choose your own objectives. Playing as LEE you may choose Harrisburg, Baltimore, Washigton, etc. Then you just logon and issue your commands at your conveinance. Some of the commands are : Attack, determined attack, screen , probe, defend, entrenck, dispersed defense, withdraw, reinforce, encamp. It is free to play one game at a time, if you want to play more than one you need a subscription. They have multi-player games were up to 10 people can participate in a battle. The MP seems nice as you can do MP every day with up to 10 people without having any file transfers. The biggest shortfall I can see right now is the lack of members there. I encourage anyone interested in a more casual strategy game to check it out. I would provide a link but I'm not certain about the rules and links to other sites yet, but any search for Campaign of 63 should easily turn it up.
