I agree with those who have spoken against the idea of stripping a member of some of their general's stars when they vacate a command position. It just seems a bit disrespectful to take away something that has been earned and I can't see how it would improve anything. I think that focusing on getting enough people to actually step up and fulfil the requirements of command and admin roles is more beneficial to the health of the club than than reducing the rank of those who have served the club. Just my opinion...

Scott and Antony have both made very valid points.

i think the current system is great,,it has served us all well,,evey system can use a few tweeks here and there, that is progress. i see no reason why there cant be 370 generals,,its my goal to reach that level at some point,,it is a badge of honor, some reach it thur battle and others thur a combination of both battle and leadership,, but both directions are needed within the club, other awards are great to, medals, ribbons, i know i take pride in my record and i like to see it on the page, i do however wish it could be updated more on a timley basis but that takes alot of time and time is shot due to life.. this club has alot to offer and iam glad to have been included in it..

thanks

The curent system works so leave it alone. So what if we have alot of generals, all that means is that they have played the games and performed their leadership responsibilities. Generalship represents gaming and participation in the Club. The more generals we have, the more our members have participated.

I support maintaining the current situation.
It is not perfect and does have anomalies on occasion, but, on balance I think it works for us.
Removing rank from officers who have earned it seems a bit unjust to me.
