I have recently started an ongoing HPS Gettysburg campaign. My opponent and I have come across several questions.
1. In the last battle JEB Stuart was captured but he showed up in the next battle, also all the regimental strengths seems to be restored. I was under the impression that leaders/regiments should continue the campaign as defined by the last battle, is this not the case?

2. Sometimes when our battles end and we get to the campaign front end again to make our strategic choices the main program file doesn't want to load. We are not playing using expected values but the campaign pop-up message opens as if we were displaying both the "ok" or "cancel" buttons. We will hit cancel to play out the battle but it will give an error message. So far we have been able to work around it by having the other player open the battle Has anyone else had issues with the main program not loading?

Some scenarios are set up properly to carry forward their losses but I have never confirmed or made a list of them. Ideally when you come across one you should send a copy of the game to HPS so they can fix it in a future update. I've seen it happen but to late to document it.

As to your Campaign problems it sounds like either your files have gotten corrupted or the two of you aren't playing with the same version of the game. I would verify that both are using the same version and then keep copies of the game files before and after you see the error and send them to HPS.
