An opponent responded to a Chancellorsville challenge with a request to play a big multi-day scenario of the Chancellorsville battle using the "BIG" map that includes the town of Fredericksburg in the east and stretches all the way to "road to Germanna ford" in the west.

I've scrolled down through the scenaio list but I just can't see a version like that.

The 3 and 4 day historical Chancellorsville battles appear to use the smaller Chanc' map that doesn't feature Fredericksburg.

Is there a BIG version on the disk or has my opponent got his wires crossed?

002F_Nov19th_MeetingEnagagement? Maybe this is it. It includes both Chancellorsville and Fredericksburg. Its a fairly fun map. If you come in from the north be sure to know how to use bridges and fords in the game.

Yes, I guess that might be it. I am a bit puzzled now though because that one uses the Fredericksburg OOB with Burnside in command, default command rating of 'D' & 'E' :( whereas the Chancellorsville OOB has Hooker in command with a default 'C' & 'B' :)

I just thought there must be a big campaign scenario for the April / May campaign using that great big map.

Also the AoP organisation changes between the two campaigns from the awkward Left, Right & Centre Grand Divisions to the later Corps structure that follows.

If the scenario you seek isn't there, it is easy to create one, using the scenario editor. I recently created a scenario using the large Gettysburg map with low odds entries (5%). It isn't very historical in that organizations usually kept pretty tight, but fog of war is greatly enhanced and we are having a ball with it.
