Officers and Gentlemen of the Confederacy,

The key to the successful functioning of our club and the Confederacy is our staff officers. These are the people who make sure awards are given, points awarded, spreadsheets maintained, website kept up to date, cadets trained and lots more. Some may view it as a thankless task, but if you ask most staff officers they will say that they enjoy what they do and they take satisfaction from keeping our club running.

However it is not possible for a staff officer to do the job for years on end, so every so often we need replacements – unfortunately we are not overwhelmed with volunteers. It is well understood that our club members all have real lives and pressures, so people should not feel any obligation to volunteer.

If you have the time and inclination to assist then please review the available positions below. All that is required is some degree of enthusiasm and an ability to use MS Office.

Wanted – Chief of Staff to the Armies of the Confederacy
This position would suit any officer of any rank. This job is primarily working with the Chief of the Armies in running the CSA side of the club.

Wanted - Adjutant to the Chief of the Armies.
This position would suit any officer of any junior rank. The job is mainly working as an assistant to the Chief of Staff

Wanted – Commander Eastern Theater of the Confederacy.
This position would suit any officer of any Colonel rank and above. This officer will be responsible for leading the armies of the East – Army of Northern Virginia and the Army of Georgia. Functions include monthly reporting, making awards, recommendations for promotions and updating points in the DoR

All applicants for the above positions just contact me direct.

General Cam McOmish
CSA Staff Officer Recruiter

I, for one, think we should make these PAID positions. From now on all Yankees should have to pay 20 Yankee greenbacks a month to the Club. And all us Rebs will pay 20 Rebel dollars each month. I think thats a fair compromise

As a former Theater Commander, it is really a fun & easy job to organize with the army commanders the various reports & honors for the troops. You get great exposure to the Senior Command and can really have an impact on the army, especially when you have good AC's under you!! :)

It really is not a lot of work....

There is a badly needed Chief of Staff job and it is available right now. It is ideally suited for young REBEL staff officers:

Chief of Staff for LATRINES! Of course, there is LITTLE PAPERWORK involved.

It has been my greatest concern that the Yanks would one day find the Confederacy’s one fatal weakness – yes it is quality toilet paper, those of us in the General Ranks cannot function on anything less the 4 ply (extra soft). Mr Pinkerton and his boys must have been checking our out-houses, the swine
