But, there are members that do play these BG games and the game are still a viable alternative. There are some, like me, that have both the game series, so we should be able to do both.

Hopefully, there are still BG players among the REBELS.

I have all the Talonsoft games..........are they the same as "BG" .

if the same ........how do I upgrade them..........?

When I discovered this club............I figured most gamers were playing the latest and greatest ...aka "HPS".

HEY! I see you live in Stoughton! I live in Lynn.

OK, there are two choices for the TALONSOFT games. One: upgrade to the 32 bit Tiller version.

TWO: BUY the NEW MATRIX ( www.matrixgames.com/) version of ALL the ACW games, which includes ALL upgrades to the games, including the 32 BIT TILLER upgrades. I think it runs about $117. for the whole package of games. ( Just checked the MATRIX site. I did not think that the series was that much!!!)

Anyway, I have to run right now, so will give you the info on the upgrades, later.

The patches are available here: http://www.acwgc.org/acwco/patches.asp

I think anyone that plays them uses the 32-bit versions. I run the 32-bit patched originals in an XP virtual machine (Oracle Virtualbox) in Windows 7. Virtualbox is free: https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
