Officers of the ACWGC,

It is my distinct pleasure to announce the appointment of Major General Jon Ellis (aka Prax Swan) to Command the Army of Georgia, effective Nov. 1st 2011

Jon has served as AoG III Corps Commander since August 2010 as well as held the Chief of Records position since the beginning of that year, all while managing several AoG and club wide tournaments. He brings a lot of experience to the position and I am confident the Army of Georgia is in good hands.

I would also like to thank Major General Robert Wilson for his excellent service as commander of the Army of Georgia. Robert took the AoG reins from Nick Kunz back in July of 2010, he has performed his duties with great enthusiasm and dedication, always with the goal of improving the ACWGC experience and the Army of Georgia. It has been my pleasure to work with him during this time and I wish him all the best as he returns to Brigade command.

Thankyou for doing your part in keeping the fine Army of Georgia the great army that it is. Being the first army I was posted to I have more than a soft spot for the AoG

Well done for stepping up and looking after the fine Army of Georgia.

Gents please do drop by my HQ tent when I take over as the CoA, I hear tell that General Tisdale is leaving behind some fine sipping water.
