I received word through General Frank Mullins today that Brigadier General James Wilkes is one the road to recovery from his recent surgery. Frank writes that James's sister, Laura Horsfall, notified him that ..."we just found out today that James' tumour is non-malignant. He's still in St Georges, slowly recovering so hopefully he'll be back on his feet again soon." This is, of course, good news, and I am loking forward to Jim's eventual return to duty and "digglyda's" return to this forum! |

Thank-you to all you gentlemen for your kind words of support, concern and encouragement recently. I was finally released home today (Friday 16th December) to continue my recovery. I hope that it may yet prove a full and speedy one. |
