Can anyone direct me to a John Tiller fix. I have seen this happen twice in one game. Larry Hagerty and I are currently playing Fredericksburg Meeting Engagement. We have both crossed the Rappahannock at Banks Ford and him at US Ford during our fight. Each time our forces became labelled isolated (the ones that crossed over from "their side". This despite of the units in question being able to trace a free line of hexes back to their supply and chain of command (in both cases we had supp. This is a pretty big flaw and we both paid for it in the lower performance of our units, and the altering of our plans.

How do we fix the issue?

Don

the question should be......is there a fix?

do you have the latest update for the game in question?

if you do.......then it is what it is.

I have not noticed this in other games.........I will have to check that tonight.

My solution is to play without the isolation option. I don't agree with it for tactical games such as the one you are playing anyway.

Others I respect feel differently, and there are threads containing our discussion.

What Ernie is saying, and I agree, is that it sounds like what you are describing is a potential bug -and to be of service to the community at large (iow to quash it, if it is a bug), please consider sending an email describing the file (and if you weren't using encrpytion - a copy of the file -otherwise, still contact them to get some instructions that would be geared towards replicating the situation)

to the Support@HPSsims.com email address provided.
