Gentlemen, Whats up with these Matrix Games? I just heard about them, but, they look like AGEOD and Battle Ground games to me. Did they make them better or are they just marketing them? Are they worth buying? Thanks in advance for the heads up. |

They are just marketing them - I only got them because the Talonsoft version would not work with my new OS's and I had friends who still played them. Not really worth buying. |

Matrix is marketing the AGEOD games. The Battleground games have been updated to work with Windows Vista and Windows 7. Matrix has also produced War Between the States in conjunction with Gary Grigsby. |

Gents, What Matrix did for the BG games was to do the upgrades and patches before putting them out so you don't have to go thru all the stuff like you did with the old TalonSoft BG games. It is actually a good value if you care to play those BG games, you get the bundle of 5 for a pretty good price. Regards, |
