Rumors abound that General Joseph C. Meyer will immediately disband the Armies of the Potomac & the Shenandoah so that those fine gentlemen can be home to celebrate Valentine's Day with family & friends!

General Earnest A. Sands continues to mobilize the Army of the Cumberland to wipe out any remaining Confederate dissidents who refuse to lay down their weapons and the Army of the Tennessee moves to occupy what is left of the Southern States.

Three Cheers for the Union... and the end of this terrible conflict! (Happy Valentine's Day!)

I think that the young Captain has got April Fools Day and Valentines Day mixed up - although the rumour about Gen Strickler may be true  , plus it is true I was mortally wounded due to drinking a bit too much - but a new liver made me mortal again - so the Captain got things half right

It's hard not to love this fine stuff. Drinks on the Rebel forces tab.

I had to dress up like a woman in order to sneak into the dormitory of Miss Magnolia's School for Young Ladies.

I'd do it again too!

See if you can spot me...

General Strickler,

Miss Magnolia's School for Young Ladies, eh? I'm withdrawing my daughter at once! LOL!

I'd heard the rumors... but I didn't know they we're true! And here you go providing photographic evidence! All this time I thought General McOmish was a bald faced liar... and now I discover he can actually tell the truth on occasion. This is really going to complicate the deciphering of captured Confederate intelligence. (Yes, I know! Rebel intelligence... an oxymoron for sure!) 8)

Captain,

The Army of Georgia salutes your excellent and creative use of Tavern resources. You will be a great addition to the native charm of all our fine establishments. I hope you will not be offended if we continue to fight on for a few months more. We've captured quite a number of your supply wagons and it seems a shame to quit before the imaginary beer runs out.

Lt General Swan,

Yes, Sir! The war must go on! For General Joseph Meyer does not advocate any form of alcohol abuse... real or imagined!

Please send my compliments to the Army of the Georgia... and to Brig. General Arndt who did a good bit of damage to me in a recent battle! <salute> But to the best of my knowledge... he didn't capture any of my supply wagons! I imagine that those captured wagons must have been come from the Army of the Shenandoah... I believe most Rebs find them much easier prey than the hard fighting men of the Army of the Cumberland!

What hogwash indeed! The AotS has always been the premier fighting unit of the Union. The AotC is only good at mustering! That's not to say that the Army of the Cumberland can't beat Rebs but not as well as the Shenandoan's can. :)
