A prospective opponent and I were discussing a scenerio that we might enjoy. However, we both agreed that it seemed to favor one side. I thought about bidding points for the perceived superior Army. Has this beeen tried?

Lieutenant Best <salute>

Suh, my compliments! I've never heard of it and can't say whether it's been tried or not, but would certainly be interested to hear about it. Handicapping scenarios sounds interesting.

I think my opponent and I are moving on to another scenerio but to continue the discussion:

Obviously the bid system would only be applicable to maneuver games ie. Yankee versus Yankee or Reb versus Reb.

Thus bringing up another point which is the points penalties for maneuver games. Before I continue the discussion-Is this still the case?

Maneuver games have points awarded at 1/2 the points for a battle.
