Thanks for the link Ned. I was "wowed" by the picture of the 300lb Parrot with the burst barrel. Can't imagine what it would have been like when that happened.

Many of those phots I had never seen before. I particularly liked the shot of the USS Essex. The introduction mentions photos of individuals to come. Can you post the link to those Ned?

Okay but I don't know why you would want to see them. Too many of them look like Joe Meyer or Cam McOmish. One particularly ugly mug is remininscent of Blake Strickler.

Someone was definitely heavy-handed with the Ugly Stick! I thought they might be useful to some as portraits of generals to use in the game.

I've always thought to myself how Unattractive women look to me from photographs of the Civil War to up until about the 1930s/40s. But, I must say the Miss Demine and Miss Walton are rather attractive to my "sense" of external beauty. And I do understand that my thoughts of what makes a woman attractive is warped and influenced by our modern culture, but Damn... not bad... not bad at all.
