Gents,

The lines between Richmond and the rest of the CSA are being cut on a regular basis (my ISP is totally useless and keeps dropping my service) - so my dispatches to CSA HQ's and Union foe are a bit slow.

Gents after much frustration with ISP's I have given up, got a new modem and taken a course of counseling to overcome my frustration

Cam-to help your mental anguish, I recommend a water treatment and no alcohol for 30 days.

Trust me, this will help

Yes, these are the penalties one must endure as a CSA officer! The lack of a dependable, manufacturing infastructure and an overdependence upon archaic, agrarian practices will do it every time!

As a side note to all of you club members who may be Comcast customers, there is an uncertain future for Comcast PWPs, or Personal Web Pages! If you have invested some time and energy into developing your own PWP as part of your Comcast membership, you would do well to copy all of your PWP data to a disk.

Last week my own PWP suddenly went blank. When I called Comcast to find out the problem, there didn't seem to be anyone anywhere who could directly answer my concerns, except to say that they were terribly sorry that I had lost my PWP! I wasn't, however, the only customer who was experiencing the error! Before the day was half over, the chatter on the PWP forums became so agitated that the problem was suddenly rectified and all missing PWP pages had been magically restored. But in the process, Comcast re-iterated their policy of not being responsible for loss of PWP content and advised their customers to provide suitable backups. This seems like a strange thing for an Internet Provider to say since Comcast goes out of its way to advertise free PWP to all of its new customers!

The melding of Comcast and Xfinity will at some point result in a total restructuring of the Comcast system. I am afraid that free PWP's will be a thing of the past.

David I have sworn off water until the fight for states rights has been won - lets hope it is a long war as I certainly have a taste for the demon drink
