Ernie, it is the first video I have seen with the guns being fired as per the civil war - the distance the guns moved back was a lot more than I thought - I have now been trolling though youtube and there is plenty more - it looks like a fun sport

Very cool video!

For anybody on the U.S. east coast the North-South Skirmish Association http://www.n-ssa.org/NATIONAL/allsched.html has live fire target competitions in various locations from GA to PA, the spring nationals were just last week in Winchester VA. The artillery shoots at bulls eye targets and also artillery silhouette targets it’s well worth going to a competition...like a reenactment but with real bullets! :shock:
