Since the idea of parallel dimensions exist in theoretical physics, there could be a basis for ghosts - beings that somehow have crossed over or stuck between dimensions.

That may be the most intelligently written sentence in the history of the Club, Drex

Never saw one myself, but 20 years ago my re-enactment Coy Comd and his 1st sergeant (K, 88NYVI) were returning along Confederate Drive, Gettysburg, late one night after the commander briefing at a re-enactment when they both saw an exceedingly realistic looking ragged reb in the headlights. Capt Mohr pulled over to offer him a ride, but the Reb wasn't there. A "hardcore" with the ability to vanish in open ground? They didn't think so.

That was an obvious attempt by a Yankee recon to capture Rebs for interrogation. Of course the Reb disappeared.

Knowing the Company, interrogation at campwould have followed generous circulation of good Irish Whiskey; so if the Reb was TT, that could explain his aversion to good spirits

Well I just got back from walking the "haunted" Carnton Plantation here in Franklin. I was told to look for a woman in a dress who appears on the back porch and vanishes.

Instead I found some bugs, mosquitos, lightning bugs, and what I hope weren't ticks.

I've been more scared using the restroom at a truck stop.

The closest I have been to a ghostly sighting is when I visited Sturdivant Hall in Selma, Alabama. It was an Open House tour so I walked on in and looked around. I got up to the attic where the old nursery was when I heard someone creeping up the stairs real slow like. So I, of course, walked over to the stairs to see who was coming up. I about scared the poop out of some poor lady who worked there and had been outside when I came in. She heard noises upstairs in the attic and feared that it might be the ghost of the children who died in the home.

Nope just me
