Gentlemen of the Club <salute>

I would like to announce that a club wide tournament will kick off in the first week of August 1863 (2012). The tournament is titled the Red Badge of Courage (RBCT). The RBCT is the re fighting of every land battle of the American Civil War (including key parts of battles), that can be simulated using HPS and Talonsoft/Matrix (Battle Ground). There is also the option to fight the whole war with FOF during the tournament. This will allow club members who primarily play this game the opportunity to participate.

Points will be awarded for each battle based on length and number of troops involved. At the end of the tournament the side with the most points overall will win the War.

Should HPS/JTS release more campaigns during the tournament then the historical battles and or scenarios will also be incorporated into the tournament

The current stats for the tournament are as follows (excluding FoF):

Total Points: 8626
Total Turns: 6779
Total HPS Battles: 182
Total BG Battles: 72
Total duplicate Battles:20
Total Battles to play: 234

For the FoF there will be eight campaigns.

For more information please go to http://members.iinet.net.au/~cameron.mcomish@westnet.com.au/RBC%20Website%20V3/ - note due to my poor web skills the site may not work with older browsers, it should work fine with Firefox. There are links at the site for obtaining the files required to play moded BG and HPS Corinth. If you can't obtain the files from these locations please contact me

The link to the Rules and Scoring page isn't working.

Hi Mark I tested it and it seems fine - which browser are you using? As I have built it using XHTML MS explorer will have trouble with it - sorry. I will do some work to see if I can rebuild it using HTML

Firefox. Checked again this morning and it still isn't working for me. Just to be sure I'm talking about the link in your first post but the link on your tourney page.

General McOmish, Suh,

What the good Yankee is trying to say is that the link in the menu bar on the webpage works just fine, but the link in the main frame of the webpage to the Rules and Scoring Summary does not work - even with Firefox. At least, that's what I found when I went to the site.

Regards,

The link in the briefing section has a different path than in the index. The index works in IE, the briefing one doesn't.
