Nonsense. Gen. Davis was sentenced to 5-years service for "assaulting" that poor woman in Charlotte. I tried to tell him that she wasn't "one of those girls" but he wouldn't listen.

It's a tribute to the man's desire to be a bachelor though that he took the 5 years rather than marry the poor girl.
