Greetings All.....

Sorta of sound like Chicken Little running around..."Sky is falling.....Sky is falling!!!"

We spanked them and now they are trying to pick on someone else......they will eventually work their way down to our JROTC before they have an opportunity to win....

Lt General Hebert,
Neal,

Perhaps I would be able to bring some additional merit to the Army of the Shenandoah in some of my individual battles against the Army of the Mississippi. For example in my contest versus Lt General Tim Miller, where we are 56 turns into a 300 turn battle.

But ever since the AotM made Tim their Chief of Staff... he's been so busy running around the Taverns posting messages that I'm lucky if I get 3 files a month from him!

But then again... perhaps it's not so much that he's the CoS now... but that he's read the writing on the wall and is delaying the eventual Union Major Victory that is sure to come! :)

Suh, my compliments!

I can't speak for General Miller, however fairly recent experience by Major General Reneau, Brigadier General Peek, and myself in our "Round Robin" tournament suggests you are quite adept at moving to the rear when force presents itself; perhaps General Miller has become tired of chasing you?

Highest regards,

Lt General Hebert,
Neal,

Surprising as it may be, Sir... I am advancing towards him with all due haste!

Lt General Hebert,
Neal,

Well... that remains to be seen! (And I mean that quite literally as it is after night fall.)

My boys are guiding themselves down the roads via the dim moon light and towards the watch fires of a large Rebel encampment on the ridges west of Gettysburg. It's darn right spooky!

Ah, the oldest trick in the book! Keep them fires burning brightly, guiding them to where they think we are. Saw it in a John Wayne movie once; the Native Americans had women and children dragging brush to create a dust cloud as a decoy

Highest regards,

Looking forward to re-engagement after an extended sabbatical. Not much on the corn squeezin fueled bravado.

Suh, my compliments!

I'm not much on corn squeezings either, however our bravado is fueled by an overwhelming victory. A bunch of hungover Yanks are now preparing to face the Army of Georgia after drowning their sorrows away.

We look forward to next year and your participation,
