Suh, my compliments!

Nicodemus is actually quite fond of General Olinsky, and he has no reason to be concerned.

The "aggressive history at events such as this" is like beating one of the dead horses Nicodemus has eaten to death. The young lieutenant was disrespectful of General McOmish's sister and suffered the consequences of his rude behavior. He came off lightly and was dragged away with the other arm and his manhood intact.

"Constipated"? Suh, if you're referring to his likeness on the II Corps flag it's called a "bicep" and has nothing to do with the digestive system. He was exercising them in our drinking game with General Olinsky recently, which you may have heard about. If you've still not decided on a Christmas gift for General Olinsky, his fancy hat seems to have been ruined over the course of the game. He might appreciate a new one.

Highest regards,

General Meyer,
Joe,

Why yes Sir... Nicodemus certainly has an ugly disposition. :(

But having faced him on the battlefield a number of times... I've learned something about his habits. A fast Alligator can probably run about 8 to 9 miles an hour on land. But it's important to note that Alligators NEVER chase prey, they are ambush predators. The only time Alligators ever run is back to water... when they are "running away" from something. I've been ambushed by Nicodemus a time or two... but generally if you don't let him catch you off guard... he will break a run at the sight of any Union Officer!

So there's really nothing to worry about with regards to Nicodemus at the Christmas Ball... that is unless you've had too much to drink and pass out on the way home afterwards. Then you might wake up to find him chomping on your limbs... otherwise... Nicodemus is quite harmless! :D

Suh, my compliments!

I've run into Yanks with breath odor that could win the war if properly employed. They were primarily associated with General Hooker and his travelling brothel from eating, well you get the idea.

It appears that one of them even turned a trophy cup black simply by drinking from it

Highest regards,

If that photo was in color and you could see the true brightness of my outfit, you'd know why Ned's troops never rallied. I do believe some of them are still having nightmares...

In Scotland, they have a saying - Red and Green should ne'er be seen, except upon a young Colleen.

I'm not a Colleen, but... 8)

8) Sunglasses are on!

I recommend giving Lieutenant Colonel Turner a pass on the outfit, painful as it is in color, seeing how it is in the spirit of the season. I do hope he continues wearing the tie in battle, however. It marks "center mass" quite well

Lt General Hebert,
Neal,

I did notice how the star on the top of the Christmas tree was pretty close to where his heart would be! LOL!

Suh, my compliments!

I suppose an eagle-eyed sharpshooter might be able to spot the star, however that red stripe down the middle would be shouting "shoot here" to anyone on the line.

Not to worry - the Bible under the tie will stop a Minnie ball.

Not so sure about canister - or gator bites - but the outfit tends to blind opponents so it usually works out... 8)

I would consider wearing that outfit on the battlefield as being ungentlemanly in the extreme (outside the Christmas period). No wonder you have such a good win loss record.

Suh, my compliments!

There's probably a yellow stripe down the back; we'll know once we see him in battle

That yellow stripe is naught but a tress of my wife's hair! :P

I've not seen any reports, and as such will assume that Nicodemus managed to get through the occassion without biting some Yank lieutenant's arm off! They must have been on their best behavior.

"It's too early to reveal the ACWGC personality and his wife yet... unless someone guesses who it is. Then I'll confirm it!

Otherwise, I'll reveal it on the night of the Christmas Ball."

I missed the last half of the Xmas Ball as I was trying to be gentlemanly and show Cam's sister how stars looked from underneath a boat down by the riverside. As it turned out, she showed me a thing or two and so I must have missed the announcement. Could you repeat who the ACWGC personality and his wife is?

General Simms,
Ned,

Oh my gosh Sir... I plumb forgot all about that!

The ACWGC personality and his wife are none other than General Drexel Ringbloom and his wonderful wife Susan! They are as personable in person as they are via email or on the phone! <salute>

Thanks to everyone who participated in the 2012 Combined Christmas Ball and especially to Nicodemus and our well behaved friends from the Confederacy!
