Lieutenant General Tim Miller 4/4/II/AotM
for defending the Confederacy at the battle of Blackburn’s Ford – 18th of July 1861
Brigadier General Don Vandergriff 3/I/AotM
for defending the Confederacy at the first battle of Bull Run (Henry Hill) – 21st of July 1861
Their brother officers at the Army of the Mississippi are all be proud
to count among us two such skilled & intrepid warriors.
