General Blake <salute>

Suh, again a most excellent edition of the dispatch! How many knew that it was actually Grant that surrendered at Appomatox?

Highest regards,

Read the James Thurber snippit, "If Grant had been drunk at Appomattox"
It is a part of "Thurber Carnival." I played Grant.

As usual a fine example of penmanship. Although I will state for the record I damn peeved that Gen Joe Wheeler got to play the part of me in the play - I though the part was written for N B Forrest.
