Today is the 45th wedding anniversary for the wife and I. That makes us both 45.5 years old. We have regressed to a life consumed with health issues, what and where we're gonna eat next, and guessing which family member needs money this week. Actually, I could only hope that every one could enjoy a life time of marriage as blissful as we have had. I can offer the secret ingredient for any successful marriage - FEAR!!!! I'm scared to death of her, but love and respect did play a little bit into it.

I hope to post news of our 50th wedding anniversary in this same forum 5 years from now.

Congratulations. You two should be proud. A wonderful accomplishment.

My wife and I will be celebrating our 36th anniversary this year, and I don't regret a single day . . .

. . . that day would be April 27th, 1989.

My uncle once said" I've been happily married for 11 years", his wife pointed out that they had been married for 17 years, to which he replied, I know.

Wife and I celebrated our 18th just the other day. At least I celebrated she was probably wondering what the hell was she thinking back then.

We celebrated our 22nd earlier this month, but I must say that as I am very impressed by what she has done for me this week as I have been deathly ill. She has protected and cared for me every moment as they tried to get my vitals to stabilize after the surgery. I feel more loved than I have ever felt. She has been an angel......

We are all very lucky people. Isn't it a wonder they put up with us?
