Ahhh, but think of the plusses.

God's way of hiding all of man's trash.
&
More time to game!

Okay, I only have two, and I am well acquainted with the negatives, but still, those are two pretty good reasons for a wicked snow!

May it bring nothing more than young go-getters who do a professional job cleaning your premises at a reasonable cost!

Respectfully

I wish the scenarios had the option of a "snow" ground cover. I know that many games have a summer and autumn graphic option but a "rainy" or "snowy" one might be kind of cool.

We might get up to 30+ inches in the Boston area.

But, got the cars away, the trash cans buttoned down, yard items put away and snon shovels handy. Went out early in the week and stocked up on batteries, water, etc.

One of the larger supermarkets in the area had to call in the fire department for crowd control. People were lined up OUTSIDE to get into the store. They had something like 20 registers working and no one could SHOP, as the aisles were full of people trying to check out!

Simply amazing.

In February 1978, the last BIG blizzard, we were living in the desert of Southern California, so we missed it. I do not think we will miss this one!!!

I do believe there is a winter graphic----someplace!
I imagine it, I suppose.
Western Pa, we are on the edge of all that stuff--should not be too bad. Mother nature needs to ease up on the coastal folks!

Really? I don't believe it. Next I suppose you'll say the phrase "Like Sands through the hourglass... these are the days of our lives" has absolutely nothing to do with you.

Gents,

I spent 6 years on the eastcoast in the mid 70's to 1980. The one big one I experienced was in February of 1980. Over night 25 inches of snow fall. Was living in base housing at Fort Belvoir, VA, We made our way to report for duty, shoveled the sidewalks and then went home for the next 3 days. Governor declared a winter emergency and asked all to stay home for 3 days in the Northern VA region.

It was a blast for a westcoast kid from the Seattle area. Heck, I grew up watching it snow all day in school and about the time we got home to hit the hills for some sledding it would start to rain (of course). The wife, heck, she grew up in Taiwan and never even saw snow until after we were married in Maryland. First snow that year was 6 inches. I had her out in the snow making snow angels, she sure looked like one at the time! Those were the days!

This winter, to date we have had about 1 - 2 inches total. You wouldn't believe all the folks living around here driving on their studded snow tires like it was going to snow everyday in winter. Of course, some of the best skiing is in the Cascade mountains with tons of snow there!

All the best you guys in winters way!

well its morning............and we pretty much got what they predicted.

looks bad out there..........we are in between Boston and Providence.

It is still very bad out there. We have, perhaps 20+ inches, but very hard to tell. My neighbors have 5-6' drifts that I can see. No sense in shoveling, yet. The plows are working well and the street is reasonably clear, but no one is moving around, yet. The drifts in my yard are over 6' in places

I live just outside of Boston. There is still a state-wide driving ban in effect.

Suitable advice for most, (if not all), of Life's situations?

Heartily seconded!

I can't drive. My cars are completely covered in snow and ice and are behind a wall of 6 feet of snow. I did shovel out to the street, but I am leaving the cars to shovel out, tomorrow.
