Today it is with some regret that I announce the closure of the CSA War Collage, with effect 01 March 2013. The closure has been brought about by the decision to move all Confederate tactical information to the Southern Raiders Forum and the wish by General Kennon Whitehead to step down as the War Collage Commandant

General Whitehead please step forward; For your eight years of fine service at the CSA War Collage I present to you the Thomas Stonewall Jackson Medal of Recognition.

This medal is awarded both for prowess on the field of battle and for distinguished service. In your case General you have achieved both many times over – well done Suh! <salute>

General Whitehead is given the eyes right by each regiment in turn.

General Whitehead <salute>

Suh, my compliments!

There are very few gentlemen in the ACWGC whose presence or comments result in the immediate attention of all assembled, and you are certainly one of the few. This recognition is truly earned and deserved.

Nicodemus managed to lift General Blake's wallet (which he never seems to have). First round is on him

Highest regards,

By all means drinks are on me!

No, don't bite on that coin!

What? Chocolate coins? You mean those aren't Gold? Well... how embarrassing.

It seems that store clerk sure fooled me. I guess Neal will have to pay this time

Congrats to Kennon! A great leader in the CSA and a fine man in the ACWGC.

Gen. Whiteheads contributions are the stuff of legends.

It is virtually impossible to search the forum archives on any game or historical issue without finding General Whitehead's illuminating comments appended somewhere. What would this club be like without him?!!! The "stuff of legends," indeed!!!

I once had the honor of playing the General in a tournament, coming away from that educational experience in the full knowledge that he applies every morsel of excellence that he has written for us into a masterful demonstration of what Civil War combat was all about!
